With the influx of new students for the winter semester, the University is issuing a reminder that it has a smoke-free campus policy prohibiting smoking or vaping of tobacco, cannabis, or vapour products and use of any tobacco product on all UWindsor property.

The policy is intended to support the health and well-being of all members of the University community. It recognizes the health hazards associated with smoking, exposure to second-hand smoke, and the use of tobacco products, and makes exception in accordance with applicable procedures for the use of traditional and sacred medicines that are part of Indigenous cultural and spiritual practices.
