Lancer softball will play its home openers Saturday in Mic Mac Park.
A clash between two undefeated nationally-ranked teams is in store for football fans Saturday, as the #4 Lancers host #1 Western at Alumni Field.
Both squads are 5-0 on the season, the best start for Windsor since 1975. The Lancer defence leads Ontario University Athletics in fewest points and yards allowed, sacks, and interceptions, while the Mustangs top many categories on offense.
Game time is at 1 p.m. Sept. 30 at Alumni Field.
Softball will play its first home games of 2023, taking to the diamond in Mic Mac Park to host McMaster for games at 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday, and Brock at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday.
Soccer will meet Guelph for away-and-home doubleheaders, Friday in the Royal City, then back Sunday at Alumni Field; the women play at 1 p.m. and the men at 3:15 p.m.
Baseball will take on McMaster in Hamilton on Saturday, then return home to Libro Field to play Western Sunday at noon and 2:30 p.m.
Golfers will compete in two invitational tournaments in Waterloo on Saturday, and cross country will head to Louisville, Ky, for the Live in Lou Classic meet.
