Windsor Law welcomed hundreds of alumni to the newly renovated Ron W. Ianni building on Oct. 28 for a celebration that unveiled its spectacular transformation.
Guests heard from Jacqueline Horvat, treasurer of the Law Society of Ontario, judge Chris Uwagboe of the Ontario Court of Justice, Chief Justice of Canada Richard Wagner, and Gary Anandasangaree, federal minister for Crown-Indigenous relations.
Alumni wandered the building, taking in the remarkable changes. Grads who experienced only remote learning during their time at Windsor Law entered the building for the first time.
Faculty and students showcased their research, alumni attended guided tours of the facility, and Windsor Law unveiled Sky Woman, a commissioned work by Indigenous artist Arnold Jacobs.
