City workers installed a pedestrian crossover Monday at the intersection of University Avenue and Patricia Road.

Those waiting to cross University Ave. to or from the busy stops for the Transway bus may press a button to activate lights that will alert drivers to their presence. The flashing lights and signage warn vehicles approaching from both directions to stop for pedestrians.
