The CAW Student Centre Commons will play host to a thrift shop Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 6 and 7.

The event will feature student vendors who have rummaged through their gently-used clothes and decor items to sell and make some cash, says organizer Sandra Riccio-Muglia, the centre’s director of events and programming.

“All these vendors are Lancers looking to get rid of the old and recycle to new owners,” she says. “Shoppers will be able to find some bargains.”

The event will run 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Thrift Café will distribute free treats starting at 11:30 a.m. each day, while supplies last.

“Get yourself a hot beverage and dessert while you sip and shop,” Riccio-Muglia says.
