The University community is invited to gather outside Chrysler Hall Tower at noon today — Friday, Jan. 31 — for the ceremonial raising of the Black History, Black Futures Month flag.

The event will feature drumming, poetry, the singing of the Black National Anthem, and addresses by campus leaders.

A cultural food celebration in the Black Scholars Institute lounge, located on the lower level of the CAW Student Centre, will follow the formal program.
