Student video documents changing seasons on campus

A video by fourth-year communications student Day Xu-tong aims to capture some good memories of the campus for alumni and those who, like him, will graduate soon.

The time-lapse project combines dozens of views of buildings and surrounding grounds, presenting eight months’ worth of footage in less than three minutes.

“I wanted to capture all four seasons,” Day says. “In order to capture images from spring to winter, I need at least eight months, right?”

UWindsor Interns gain practical knowledge on film set

Four UWindsor Communication, Media and Film (CMF) students joined their professor this summer as interns on an actual film set, putting theory into practice.

Matthew Sabelli; Christina Bresolin; Erik de Paulsen; and Kurt Sasso joined professor and filmmaker, Mike Stasko in shooting, The Control, a science-fiction movie co-written and co-directed by professor Stasko and Eric Schiller. The film is a production of Stasko’s film company, "The Dot Film Company".
