Reproductive justice is a pressing issue for women across Canada, say women who will discuss their activism in two presentations Thursday on the UWindsor campus.

Kathleen Pye and Sorcha Beirne waged a successful campaign to preserve access to abortion services in the Maritimes. Members of Reproductive Justice New Brunswick, they will offer insights regarding the language of anti-choice campaigns and ongoing threats to women’s health and safety in a presentation entitled “Anti-choice rhetoric = body terrorism,” October 8 at 11:30 a.m. in room 1101, Education Building.

The two will also share lessons they learned about the connections between activism and friendship in “Solidarity through sexism: the benefits of women working together,” at 1 p.m. in room 202, Toldo Health Education Centre.
