PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Recruitment Advisor will share basic information about the University of Windsor student experience, admissions and awards policies, student support & services, and the application process among prospective students, their supporters, and educators. The Recruitment Advisor will represent the University of Windsor to prospective students, parents and educators, in-person and virtually.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Two (2) years of university experience, with strong engagement in academic and campus life
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, and the ability to engage audiences in face-to-face and virtual environments
  • Demonstrated relationship management and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to multiple projects concurrently
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems (CRM)
  • Basic knowledge of University academic programs, admission criteria, awards policies and student services, and available resources for prospective students
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Evidence of commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion, including experience working effectively with diverse student, staff, and/or faculty populations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs and online engagement platforms such as Zoom, Go2 Webinar, and social media platforms
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting (13 – 20 kilograms; 28 – 44 lbs.)
  • A valid driver's license (class G2 or G) with a clean driver’s abstract and the ability to travel domestically within Ontario
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluency in a second language, preferably French

HOURS OF WORK:              

Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

(work schedule will vary)


 

Rate of Pay: 
Classification ‘II’ per Schedule A of the collective agreement
