The University’s video hosting and storage system, uView, will cease operations in December 2022 after supporting campus clients for over a decade.

Other more feature-rich enterprise systems, such as YuJa and MS Stream, are free to campus users and are now available to host, record, and share videos on campus.

The retirement of uView will take place in three phases:

• Phase 1: As of May 16, users will no longer be able to upload videos to uView.
• Phase 2: The uView team will copy users’ videos into a Microsoft SharePoint site where they will be able to access the archive via the Web.
• Phase 3: uView will be retired from service by January 2023.
