Office move to offer higher profile for Career & Employment Services

Career & Employment Services is on the move: as of Monday, October 17, its offices will be located in the Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre on Wyandotte Street West.

“We anticipate that the move from the lower level of Dillon Hall to this new, contemporary and centrally-located space will greatly improve visibility, access and ultimately, student awareness and foot traffic,” says manager Kerri Zold. “The new office has been especially designed for Career & Employment Services with the needs of students, alumni, employers and staff in mind.”

The space features break-out rooms, flat-screen televisions and an open concept area and lounge with couches and coffee tables for a relaxed meeting environment for one-on-one career advising appointments. Employers will also enjoy a more comfortable and modern space in which to meet students and conduct interviews.

Zold encourages students and recent alumni to check out the new location while searching for employment opportunities and exploring career paths.

Please note that Career & Employment Services will be closed on Thursday, and Friday, October 13 and 14 while the move is underway, but will return to normal operations in its new home on Monday, October 17.
