UWindsor drama grad Mark Lefebvre (BFA 1988) has been in the Dragons’ Den and survived. The co-owner of the Stilt Guys entertainment troupe, he appeared in October on the CBC television program, which allows entrepreneurs to pitch business ideas to a group of investors.
UWindsor drama grads Mark Lefebvre (BFA 1988) and Kyle Sipkens (BFA 2008) can say that they walked tall on the popular CBC television series Dragons’ Den.
What the Stilt Guys can’t say—yet— is whether they cut a deal with any of the show’s entrepreneurs.
“We signed a non-disclosure agreement prohibiting us from revealing the outcome of our pitch,” says Lefebvre. “Not even my mom knows what went down!”
Mark Lefebvre doesn’t have to worry about standing out in a crowd. He can stand above it.
The UWindsor drama grad (BFA 1988) is a founding member of the Stilt Guys. He strapped on the leg extenders yesterday to promote the Bozii outlet in the Toldo Health Education Centre.
Wearing a T-shirt bearing the slogan “It’s what’s inside that counts,” Lefebvre walked around campus, distributing discount coupons for Bozii, which sells hot, stuffed pastries.
