Acting deans appointed to two faculties

The University of Windsor has appointed acting deans to oversee the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Odette School of Business.

Both appointments are for two-year terms: Marcello Guarini to Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and Mitch Fields to the Odette School of Business

Students to present ideas for bridge approach

A presentation Thursday, June 23, will display student visions for Windsor neighbourhoods from Sandwich to Ford City.

Instructor Dorian Moore tasked students in his Green Corridor course with envisioning designs for parks and the planned Gordie Howe international bridge. The projects are inspired by Open Streets Windsor, which will close some roadways to vehicular traffic July 17 and September 18, says Moore.

A reception June 10 will offer the public a chance to meet contributors to Locale, an exhibition of works by Windsor-Essex students in grades 9 to 12.
