The intelligent car initiative was proposed to combine the three main areas of research at the Computer Vision and Sensing Systems Laboratory: Driver Assistance, Vehicle Guidance and Navigation and Active/Passive Safety. The project is led by Siddhant Ahuja, software lead is Thanh Nguyen and the academic supervisor is Dr. Jonathan Wu.
