Drowsy Driver Detection

(Originally published 09/21/2012)

The Drowsy Driver Detection System (DDDS) senses the onset of drowsiness and tracks fatigue. Changes that accompany drowsiness such as changes in general activity (fidgeting), eye blink frequency and duration, and eyelid movement, can be easily detected using this system. The driver can be woken up using vibration or sound alerts.
