Sport Management & Leadership (BHK)

The Sport Management and Leadership program prepares students to be managers and leaders in the contemporary sport industry, with an understanding of the social, historical, and cultural influences of and in sport. Our direct entry sport management program allows students to enter into sport management right out of high school, so that you can take courses you’re interested in and passionate about right away! 

Our graduates have gone on to attain exciting careers throughout the sport industry – 98% are employed in the first six months after graduation.

  • Understanding sport management and leadership concepts and theories to address current social, cultural, and organizational issues in sport and recreation
  • Planning, communicating, and delivering sport-related events and initiatives to engage with sport industry partners and our community
  • Devising, administering, and evaluating marketing, financial, organizational and operational plans in sport and recreation informed by the latest research
  • Conducting research using appropriate methodologies; critically appraising and evaluating research findings

Program Requirements

Course Requirements: English (ENG4U). One of Advanced Functions (MHF4U), Calculus & Vectors (MCV4U), or Math of Data Management (MDM4U).
