Top 10 life Hacks of University

Dillon Hall 253 - 11 am to 12 pm

If you are nervous for the first day of school, join us for the Top 10 Hacks for University Life. Caiti Casey will be presenting tips to students about how to be successful in their first year as undergraduate students, outside of the classroom. Start university on the right foot.


Tour Tuesday

Starting in Vanier Circle - 10:30 am to 12 pm

New to Campus? What about Windsor? Join us in taking a tour of both the history and beauty that Windsor has to offer. You will be taken by bus to the various stops around downtown Windsor and will have the chance to stop and be provided with a detailed tour of each stop. Take the opportunity to visit Old Sandwich Town and learn about the deep history of the area and visit the downtown SOCA campus to see the stunning new creative arts building in Windsor's core. You will be able to see downtown Windsor's sculpture park filled with beautiful sculptures made by famous artists. You can also enjoy a campus tour for 2SLGBTQIA+ students & allies. Visit all the essential campus locations, plus some specific resources for our 2SLGBTQIA+ students such as name changes/updates, pronouns, student cards, support services, and our rainbow crosswalks! This is a great way to get to know Windsor and what it offers.

Includes: Campus Tour, Aboriginal History Tour, Downtown Sculpture Walk, and Queer Eye on Campus


Involvement Fair

David Wilson Commons - 12 pm to 2 pm 

We invite incoming Lancers to join us for our Involvement Fair! Come meet the plethora of clubs and groups on Campus! Come down to David A. Wilson Commons, where there will be booths full of the wide variety of clubs that we have to offer at the university. Have a chat with a club member, to not only gain perspective into their clubs, but hold some key advice into the University environment. While exploring the Involvement fair you may find our Mascot Winston, so keep your eyes peeled.

David Wilson Commons - 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

While enjoying the Involvement Fair, find our beloved mascot with clues all around campus. Find him first and win a prize, so form a team and start cracking the secret code.                                   


Trivia Night

Canterbury College - 7 pm to 9 pm

Campus Ministry, Canterbury College, Residence Services, and ISC will be offering a Trivia Night in the style of Jeopardy as an alternative to Dirty Bingo. Prizes and food will also be on hand for the event. 


UWSA Lanchella: Toga Tuesday

UWSA Tent - 10 pm to 2 am

Grab those bed sheets & find some leaves to be ready for our Toga Tuesday Night! Come party at our festival tent all night long presented by Tequila Bobs!  Tickets will be sold at the door for $7 with CASH ONLY or SKIP THE LINE with our All Access Pass Available on our website.
