Residence is more than just a place to live. It's your first step to independence and is key to a full university experience. You’re steps away from your classes, the library, social activities and new friendships.
Alumni Hall
Alumni Hall features modern architecture, and is home to The Bru convenience store. The two bedroom suites are equipped with double beds, a shared kitchenette, and bathroom. Alumni Hall will be assigned to first-year students with a GPA of 83% or higher, and beyond-first-year-students. Students in our Nursing and Engineering Living Learning Communities will benefit from the support of peers and nearby resources for their programs.
Cartier Hall
Cartier Hall features an open atrium layout, ideal for the close community of first-year students who reside here. Students enjoy a full kitchen and lounge on the main floor, along with study rooms and kitchenettes throughout the building. You will be assigned a roommate who is new to university life, like yourself! Most residence students report that living on campus helped them meet people.
Macdonald Hall
Macdonald Hall features a movie theatre, a secluded outdoor patio, and lounges and study rooms on every floor. Macdonald will be assigned exclusively to first-year students, with Living Learning Communities for Engineering and Science students. There are only a few single occupancy rooms available on a first-come, first-served basis – make sure you apply early!
Laurier Hall
Laurier Hall features a laid-back environment, with study rooms and lounges on every floor. Laurier is assigned to beyond-first-year students, has single rooms, and is home to the International Student Centre. The Croc Grill is right downstairs in Vanier Hall – so convenient!
