Theme: Economic Opportunities (2025/2026)
Students wishing to be considered for the Economic Opportunities Award ($200) should include a brief comment
connecting their work to economic outcomes for themselves and/or their community.
Examples of economic outcomes include:
- Career outcomes
- Savings through improved community systems
- Intellectual property (patents, trademarks, licensing, royalties, copyrights)
- Community policies that strengthen residents’ economic realities
- Entrepreneurial opportunities
Even if your project isn’t directly tied to the theme, you can still include a few sentences describing how your work could create economic opportunities.
