Digital Print Lab

Digital Print Lab

The Digital Print Lab provides students and faculty with fine art quality, archival prints in a teaching lab setting. Our lab is located in the Armouries Building, Rm 107 and is open to School of Creative Arts (SOCA) undergraduate and graduate students, and faculty.

Services include inkjet printing on a large-format Epson 9880, Epson P800, and vinyl cutting with a Graphtec vinyl plotter. Lab equipment is operated by a student assistant during lab hours. Advanced students and faculty can operate the P800 on a self-serve basis during open lab hours.

Through Digital Technician Chris Blais, students can also access digital cameras, tripods, and light meters. To book equipment students should contact Chris at cblais(at)uwindsor.ca

Various sheet and roll sizes, as well as types of Epson paper are available. For updated stock information please visit the lab during open hours.
Also available: a self-serve flat bed scanner; an iMac soft-proofing station with calibrated-monitor; and Adobe CC with Photoshop and Illustrator
Additional computer stations, digital equipment, negative scanners and editing software are available in the  Digital Video Imaging Lab.
