Mohamad Musa

Moe is the Clinical Therapist for the Faculty of Law. He is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Moe completed his Honours Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work at the University of Windsor. Moe is also a Sessional Instructor at the University of Windsor, School of Social Work.

Moe has extensive practice experience in working as a Clinical Supervisor, Consulting Clinical Therapist, and Clinical Therapist for non-profit youth justice, youth health, and youth mental health agencies across Ontario. His practice experience in the field consists of clinical management and staff supervision; clinical consultations; clinical counselling; sexuality and sexual health education; sexual violence prevention; and poverty law advocacy.

Moe draws from humanistic therapy to assist students in better understanding their personal, academic, and professional experiences while offering them guidance and support. He utilizes integrative therapy and holistic therapy approaches to assist students in recognizing the influence of the mind, body, and spirt in their healing journey. In his sessions, Moe employs different therapeutic modalities including Existential Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), as well as Motivational Interviewing (MI).
