We will post periodically research updates. Research updates to date include:
- Approval by University of Windsor Research Ethics Board on 13 December 2017
- Pilot study (composed of ten international students, with half in their first-year and the remainder upper-level undergraduate and graduate students) completed on 19 December 2017
- Online survey sent to all University of Windsor-registered international students on 29 January 2018 (reminders sent throughout February)
- Online survey closed on 28 February 2018 (response rate of 30 percent)
- An invitation was sent in late March inviting all University of Windsor-registered international students to participate in one of six focus groups or to participate in an individual interview.
- Focus groups and individual interviews were completed in April and May 2018.
- The incentive draw was awarded on 12 July 2018.
- We are currently evaluating the qualitative data and should have research themes by the end of August 2018.
- Quantitative data will be evaluated by the end of September 2018.
- Study findings posted on this web site on 2 January 2019.
- REB final report submited on 2 January 2019, which concluded the study.
