Useful Information
The Research Ethics Board at the University of Windsor undertakes ethics review of all research involving human subjects, including funded and unfunded faculty research, graduate research, administrative research, and research conducted on the University of Windsor community (students, faculty, staff) by researchers not affiliated with the University of Windsor.
We are here to conduct an ethics review prior to the beginning of any research involving human subjects. We examine the ethics components of the research, such as:
Please note that if the Research Ethics Board (REB) identifies problems within the application or the research you will be contacted in order that changes can be made. The review process may take one week or several weeks depending on a number of factors.

Please refer to the REB Meeting Dates for important deadlines and please note that protocols must be submitted by 4 PM on the assigned submission date, otherwise late applications will be put over to the next meeting date. Also note that the expedited reviewers generally meet once a week.
