The University of Windsor Alumni Association is excited to host the annual Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Beach Grove Golf & Country Club in Windsor, Ontario.
We look forward once again providing a fun and engaging event for our alumni, friends, volunteers and sponsors. All proceeds from the event support students at the University of Windsor.
Format
The 2024 Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament will return to using a Shotgun Start Texas Scramble format, starting at 10:00 a.m. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Registration Fees:
- $275 per golfer
- $100 (Dinner Only)
Golf
- 18 holes of golf with a cart (shotgun start)
- Entry into Long Drive Contest, Closest to the Pin Contest and other fun on course activities
Food, Beverage and Other
- Lunch, roaming dinner reception and 1 alcoholic drink ticket for golf
- Cocktail Hour including 1 alcoholic drink
- Free water on course (please bring your own refillable bottle to help conserve waste)
- Exclusive golfer gift
- Complimentary bag drop upon arrival
Texas Scramble is one of the most popular team games in golf. Each player in a group tees off as normal. The best of these shots is then chosen to be used for the next shot. Each member of the team hits their shot from that spot. This is format is fun and enjoyable for all skill levels, from beginner to scratch.
