3D-Printed Housing Project
A new net-zero, 3D-printed building is coming to campus, showcasing sustainable construction and cutting-edge technology. Located at 1025 California Avenue, the seven-unit residence will house students and serve as a living lab for research and training in advanced homebuilding. This project is funded in part by the Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). The building is expected to open in summer 2026.
New Rodzik Hall Residence
The University has entered into a public-private partnership with investment and development company Tilbury Capital to build a new residence on the west side of Sunset Ave between Wyandotte and Union streets. Named Rodzik Hall, the 160,000 square-foot facility will be a state-of-the-art, six-storey building featuring dining facilities and other student amenities. Its 440 rooms will include a combination of single, double, and barrier-free units to accommodate student needs. It is slated to welcome students ahead of the Fall 2025 semester.

Leddy Library Lounge
A new multi-use study area is coming to Leddy Library, offering students a place to collaborate, study or relax. Currently under construction, the space aims to provide a vibrant and welcoming spot on campus. The upcoming addition was made possible thanks to a $1.2-million contribution from the Graduate Student Society (GSS), aimed at "giving Leddy some love" and offering a dynamic space for all students. The new lounge is expected to be complete by winter 2025.

Campus Wayfinding and Signage
Work is underway to develop standards for campus wayfinding in an effort to enhance exterior campus and building signage, create a unified campus presence, improve navigation for visitors and members of the University community, modernize exterior branding and embed principles of accessibility and sustainability.
