Augustine House
Augustine House is a female resident home located on Patricia Avenue, between Canterbury Commons and Becket House. Augustine is a large home, with 10 bedrooms spread among 4 floors. There is one large basement bedroom with ensuite bathroom, 3 main floor bedrooms, 5 second floor bedrooms, and 1 third floor bedroom. The main floor has kitchen, dining room, and a full bathroom. The common living room is in the basement, as well as laundry facilities and a half bathroom. There are two more bathrooms on the second floor. Augustine House has central air, and is open year-round!
Becket House
Becket House is a male resident home located on the corner of Patricia Road and Riverside Drive. Becket is another large home, boasting 9 bedrooms. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room in the basement; two bedrooms, kitchen, and spaceous living and dining areas on the main floor; and four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor. Becket House has central air, and is open year-round as well!
Anselm
Anselm House is a lovely 6-bedroom home reserved for female students. Located on Riverside Drive between Becket and Cranmer, Anselm boasts a variety of room sizes to suit any budget. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, and 4 upstairs on the second floor. The kitchen and living room are on the main floor. Front windows of Anselm House bedrooms and living room look out on a lovely river view. There are three bathrooms in Anselm house, as well as one half-bath ensuite to an upstairs bedroom. The laundry room is in the basement. Anselm House does not have air conditioning, so it is open September thru April and closed for the summer.
Cranmer House
Cranmer House is a charming male home located on Riverside Drive between Anselm and Parker. Cranmer House has some of our most generously sized bedrooms, with 7 rooms spread over 3 floors. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, four bedrooms on the second floor, and one third-floor loft bedroom with its own sitting area. The kitchen and 1 bathroom are on the main floor. The living area, laundry room, and a full bathroom are in the basement. There is a third bathroom on the second floor. Cranmer House has central air and is open year-round!
Whitgift, Laud, and Wake Houses
The three townhouses are all identically built. Laud House is reserved for male students, while Wake and Whitgift are typically used for females. Each townhouse has 12 bedrooms spread over three floors. The townhouses are more of a residence-style accommodation rather than a typical house. Bedrooms are all placed along secure corridors off of the main living areas. The spaceous kitchen and living room are on the main floor of the house. The first floor corridor has three bedrooms and one full bathroom. The second floor has the common laundry room for the house, as well as four bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The third floor has five bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All of the townhouses have central air, and are available to be open year-round!
Canterbury Commons Pods
Our five single gender pods are located in our new building Canterbury Commons which opened in September of 2019. Each pod has 6 bedrooms each with a 3 piece ensuite bathroom. Pods are fully furnished with all the modern conveniences of home. Pods are two levels with the common areas and 2 bedrooms on the main floor and 4 bedrooms and laundry facilities on the second floor. As with all other accommodations at Canterbury College internet is included and of course central A/C. Beds are double size but linens are not provided except for students on the University Exchange Program.
