Help with Technology Tools

Students who need help and support with a tool can be directed to the following resources.  Please note, not all these tools are supported by the University of Windsor, as noted below.

Outlook 365 Email:

Microsoft Teams:

Zoom  (Note: Zoom is not a UWindsor supported application):

  • Zoom’s support site includes many video tutorials: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us

Google Docs  (Note: Google Docs is not a UWindsor supported application for faculty and staff. As both students and faculty have access to the Microsoft 365 Apps suite, Microsoft 365 is the recommended and supported platform.)

Other Technology Help

  • For students experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19 and/or are unable to afford the necessary equipment to participate in the online EL activity, direct them to Student Awards and Financial Aid: https://www.uwindsor.ca/studentawards/415/covid-19-updates

  • For accessibility issues, direct students to Student Accessibility Services: https://www.uwindsor.ca/studentaccessibility/297/student-information

  • Students can contact IT Services for help with any of the supported applications.
