Following every work term, each semester students from all co-op disciplines are invited to nominate a co-op supervisor. The Students' Choice: Outstanding Supervisor Award has been designed to allow Co-operative Education students an opportunity to recognize a supervisor who was an exceptional mentor and went above and beyond normal expectations to ensure the student had a quality placement.
This term the award goes to Sheri McGeen of Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare! Sheri provided her student with leadership, encouragement and mentoring. As well, the student appreciated that he was treated as a valuable member of the organization and given many opportunities to develop his skill set, making his work term an outstanding learning experience!
