Do you know students who go the extra mile for others? Perhaps one has shown sincere empathy and support for one or more students during difficult times – or just gives to others in an on-going way.

The Going the Extra Mile (GEM) Award will go on an annual basis to three students: a full-time undergraduate, a part-time undergraduate and a graduate student. Awards will be presented at the annual University of Windsor Students’ Alliance, Organization of Part-time University Students and Graduate Student Society end-of-year awards celebrations.

Anyone can nominate a student for this award, but only students currently enrolled are eligible for nomination. The selection committee will be composed of the presidents of the three student governments.
