Run, Walk and Roll logoToday marks the halfway point in the Run, Walk and Roll Individual Challenge.

Additional prize to incentivize exercise

Halfway through the four-week Run, Walk and Roll Individual Challenge, organizers have added an additional prize draw for participants.

“I thought it would be a good time to check in to motivate participants and continue to challenge them,” says Mary-Ann Rennie, chair of the University working group, Virtual Connections.

“Are they reaching their personal daily goals?  Are they surpassing their goals?  Have they created a challenge with their co-workers for motivation purposes?”

More than 100 UWindsor faculty and staff signed on to the program, encouraging them to keep moving and engaged while working from home. It will wrap up Sunday, July 19.

Those who submit their final tracking sheets by July 21 — regardless of whether they reached a goal of 10,000 steps or equivalent per day — will enter a random draw. Find more details on the Virtual Connections website.
