With more classes and events taking place online, the Leddy Library is now offering patrons the opportunity to borrow a laptop computer.
The library has secured a limited number of Chromebook laptops for patron use. Active University of Windsor students, faculty, and staff with no outstanding fines are eligible to borrow a laptop for a 24-hour loan.
"We recognize that a reliable computer is becoming a necessity for students to be able to complete assignments and succeed in their courses,” says University Librarian Selinda Berg. “Our laptop lending program will help ensure students have access to the technology they need.”
The laptops provide access to the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, as well as web browsers such as Google Chrome.
All users must read and sign the Laptop Lending Agreement form before they can participate in the lending program.
