A video produced by Community Partners for Applied Research and Consultation (CPARC) and the Office of Open Learning offers effective study habits for students.

With final examinations beginning Wednesday, the timing couldn’t be better, says producer Amanda Hutnik, an intern with CPARC.

“We want it to be available for students to access while they are studying for final exams,” she says.

Besides students discussing their experiences, the video features Beth Oakley of the Student Success Centre and social work professor Dana Levin.

Football players may disregard concussion consequences, student researchers find

Despite being aware of the long-term consequences of concussions, some football players are willing to continue participating because they’re able to rationalize putting their sport ahead of themselves.

Those were among the findings of a trio of first-year masters students in kinesiology who presented their work yesterday, the final day for their research methods course.
