Students must possess a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering degree) from an accredited Canadian university. Admission to the program is competitive, with a minimum entrance average equivalent to B+ (78%). In addition, standard admission requirements for entry in the Mechanical Engineering MASc program must be met. Successful applicants will be selected by a committee through an interview process. International students may apply, but will be required to have a US Entry Visa.
The program commences each September. To apply, please submit the following by February 1st:

- You will receive an email confirmation from the University of Windsor with instructions to upload the required documents listed below
- Once ALL documents have been uploaded please be sure to “SUBMIT” your application
- A current resume describing work experience, software program and other language skills
- Official Academic Transcript
- Authorization to Release Official Documents and Information (downloadable PDF)
- Letter of Interest addressed to the program administrator, Dr. Ofelia Jianu, in which the applicant must:
- Describe why they are interested in the University of Windsor/Politecnico di Torino partnership program
- Describe their education, skills and experience and why they make them an ideal candidate for the program
- Describe their skills using CAD/Catia/Solidworks
- Describe their leadership skills, eagerness, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- What type of involvement they’ve had e.g. Formula SAE, BAJA or other team involvement
- Close by describing what they feel they will gain from this experience
