Leddy Library

The Leddy Library is a thriving and progressive campus hub located at the north side of campus boasting panoramic views of the Ambassador Bridge.

The library works with the campus community to enhance learning, research, and teaching by connecting communities, within and beyond the university, to global knowledge in a welcoming environment. The library is a valued partner in our communities’ success and as a catalyst for and a contributor to the University’s research and creative activity.

Our building offers a variety of public and bookable spaces, study rooms, and public computing areas where our campus community can study, collaborate, browse collections, and unwind.

Each department and faculty on campus and has access to a primary contact that provides a who can ensure that faculty students and staff receive the support and services they need. The library’s services include:

Collections Services:

  • Librarians help to curate and maintain a wide array of digital and print resources to support the research and teaching needs of students and faculty and are happy to take requests and answers questions.
  • Our course reserves team can help you identify and provide access to print and electronic resources for you students, which can be integrated directly into your Brightspace course site through our reserve system Leganto.
  • Librarians can assist with sourcing materials for your course, and help you navigate fair dealing and copyright questions.
