Leddy Library

The Leddy Library is a thriving and progressive campus hub located at the north side of campus boasting panoramic views of the Ambassador Bridge.

The Library works with the campus community to enhance learning, research, and teaching by connecting communities, within and beyond the university, to global knowledge in a welcoming environment. The Library is a valued partner in our communities’ success and as a catalyst for and a contributor to the University’s research and creative activity.

Each department has access to a subject expert librarian that provides a range of supports to assist your academic research and discovery.

University of Windsor Faculty members can reach out to their subject librarians to discuss research needs. In addition, faculty members can place material in course resource lists and reserves for student use.

As we prepare for Fall 2022, the Leddy Librarians are here to support your course development. Reach out to your librarian for assistance with the following:

Resources:

  • Librarians can help you identify available resources to include as course readings or viewings for your Course Resource Lists, which can be integrated directly into your Blackboard course site.
  • Librarians can help develop guides, supporting materials and assignments for your courses.

Instruction:

  • Librarians can provide information literacy instruction for your classes.
  • Librarians can provide instructional support. (Book early if possible, to ensure availability!)

Research help:

  • Librarians can offer research support for you and your students.
  • Librarians can assist with sourcing materials for your course, and help you navigate fair dealing and copyright questions.
