A four year Fish Genome Project (GEN-FISH), led by Dr. Daniel Heath is attracting a lot of attention from fish farmers, scientists and environmental consultants. The project aims to develop in part methods to determine fish health in less invasive ways, thus preserving the possibly already threatened fish stocks in various enviornments.
