The minimum wage in Ontario will increase to $17.20 effective October 1, 2024. Please note that hourly rates for student staff working within a Faculty or Department that has adopted the online version of the Authorization to Hire a Student will be automatically updated to the new rate should their wage prior to October 1 be lower than $17.20 per hour. If you are still submitting timecards to Payroll by email, please ensure the new minimum wage rate of $17.20 per hour is included on all timecards effective October 1. Public Sector Salary Disclosure - the Ontario government requires that all publicly funded institutions submit lists of employees who earned $100,000 or more in the previous year. The Public Sector Salary Disclosure for University of Windsor is now available. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact hr@uwindsor.ca.
