The IDIR’s activities in the field of nanotechnology are focused on the advanced research of nanostructured materials and their industrial and biomedical applications, including the development of nanostructured, materials-based solid lubricants, corrosion-resistant coatings, conductive coatings, and bioactive, osseointegration-promoting coatings.

Our team of world-class researchers is working on bridging nano-science, engineering, biomedical engineering and other applications to provide the S&T Community with novel technological opportunities.
