Dr. Debbie Rickeard, RN, BScN, BA, MScN, DNP, CCRN, CNE

Dr. Debbie Rickeard is an experiential learning specialist in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Windsor. Her responsibilities include teaching theory classes and the development of simulation sessions for all four years of the undergraduate nursing program. Her career has taken her down many pathways at the bedside, including intensive care nursing, cardiac transplant and heart failure management. Dr. Debbie Rickeard has dedicated her career to advancing nursing education and clinical practice. With an extensive clinical practice and pedagogy background, Dr. Rickeard has played a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and fostering innovative teaching methods that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. She is known for her commitment to mentorship, guiding the next generation of nursing professionals to excel in their careers.
