Undergraduate Winter Orientation

Winter is coming! And so is our Winter Orientation Program!!
Will you be starting your undergraduate program of study in January?
 
Join us for Winter Orientation on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.

 Winter Orientation is your first step towards a successful transition to UWindsor. This event was designed to orient you to campus life and  prepare you for the start of classes in January. 

We need to prepare for our attendance at Winter Orientation and ask that you register to attend, when the form becomes available. Registering will ensure there is lunch available for you and your family member and you will be notified of any date changes should Winter Orientation be rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Event Schedule

We have a full day of activities planned for you! Winter Orientation will begin with check in at 10:00 AM in the Odette School of Business Lobby.  Check out our campus map for directions.

Attending this orientation will allow you the opportunity to become familiar with your new campus and learn about techniques, and services offered to help you succeed while at the University of Windsor. Check out our schedule of the day for full details.

Various campus services and offices will be available until 4:00 PM to answer questions and provide support. 

Parking Information

Free parking is available in our Clark Parking Lot.

Details about the purchase of parking passes for the Winter Semester to be available soon.

Back Up Date Information

In the case of inclement weather, we will reschedule Winter Orientation to Wednesday, January 4th, 2022. The rescheduled orientation will take place from 10:00AM - 12:00 PM in the Oak Room in Vanier Hall.

All registered participants will be notified via email in the event that Winter Orientation is rescheduled due to inclement weather.

 Do you need to chat with an Academic Advisor about Winter Semester courses? Please visit their website to book an appointment or view their drop in hours.

 Winter Semester parking permits can be purchased on the Parking Services website on Monday, January 2, 2023. Permits can be picked up in person at the Parking Services Office on Thursday, January 5th, 2023. You must bring photo ID with you to claim your Winter Semester parking permit. Check out our campus map for directions.

Continuing Education offers short courses, certificates, workshops, seminars, to complement students’ current studies, and build skills for professional development. Sign up for their interest list to be notified of courses that may interest you.

If you are enrolled in any of the following Masters programs, please visit your academic unit/department website, as you may have a seperate departmental orientation in addition to the ISC Orientation
