The University of Windsor Head Start 2023 Tuition Draw
The objective of this Contest is to obtain feedback on student experiences at Head Start 2023 in person program.
1.1 The University of Windsor Student Success & Leadership Centre (the “University”) is the sponsor of the Head Start 2023 Tuition Draw Contest (the “Contest”).
1.2 This Contest will be held on each of the Head Start 2023 dates of July 7, 8, 28, and August 12, 2023 (each a “Head Start Day”), from 9:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and end the same day at 1:20 PM ET (the “Contest Period”).
2.1 No purchase necessary. Limit one entry per person. This Contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry.
2.2 The Contest is open to all individuals who are admitted as new students to the University of Windsor for Fall 2023, entering a first-degree entry undergraduate program, excluding law and consecutive education (the “Entrant(s)").
2.3 Entrants may enter the Contest by completing all the following:
- (a) Must attend an in person Head Start Day
- (b) If an Entrant attends a Head Start Day, the Entrant will earn one (1) Contest entry ballot for a Head Start Day Prize and the Primary Prize by completing and returning a Head Start Assessment form.
- (c) Entrants must compete and return the Contest entry ballot on the day it is received during the Contest Period to be considered an eligible entry.
3.1 For the Head Start Day Prizes, on each Head Start Day at 1:30 PM ET, during the lunch time BBQ, one (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received on that day, for each prize available for that day. All selected winners of a Head Start Day prize must be present to win. If the selected winner is not present, another winner will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entries. The University will contact the selected winners of a physical prize and arrange for the winner to pick up their prize in-person or have the prize mailed to the winner’s place of residence, subject to the University’s discretion.
3.2 For the Primary Prize, on August 15, 2023, at 1:00 PM ET, broadcasted over Instagram Live on the Office of Student Experience’s Instagram account, one (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received from each Head Start Day. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. The winner will be notified through their UWindsor email used to enter the Contest. If the winner fails to respond within five (5) days or claim their prize as outlined in the notification email to the winner, the winner will forfeit their prize and an alternative winner will not be selected.
3.3 As a condition of winning a prize, all winners must correctly answer the University administered, time-limited, skill testing question.
3.4 Each winner agrees that the University may publish the winner’s name.
3.5 All selected winners of a tuition prize must remain registered in Fall 2023 courses, either with a part-time or full-time course load, (subject to verification) until the next calendar day after the Last Day to Voluntary Withdraw from Fall 2023 courses, the date as set by the University of Windsor Office of the Registrar (the date to be announced and subject to change). If the selected winner is deemed ineligible due to withdrawal from all courses and cease being a University of Windsor student, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will not be selected. All winners of a tuition prize will receive their prizes in their UWindsor student account the next calendar day after the Last Day to Voluntary Withdraw from Fall 2023 courses, the date as set by the University of Windsor Office of the Registrar (the date to be announced and subject to change).
