Join our Residence Life Team!

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to fill our Community Assistant (CA) and Resident Assistant (RA) positions for the upcoming academic year (August 2025 to April 2026). These paid positions offer you the chance to make a real impact in your community while gaining valuable experience in leadership and student engagement.

As a CA or RA, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and supportive living environment for your peers. Responsibilities include:

  • Community development: Cultivate a sense of belonging and connection within your residence.
  • Social/educational programming: Organize events that promote learning, well-being, and fun.
  • Referrals and resources: Help students access the support and services they need.
  • Policy enforcement: Ensure a safe and respectful living environment by upholding residence standards.
  • Well-being support: Contribute to the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of residents.

  • "Mastering the Job Interview: Techniques for Success” workshop on Wednesday, January 22 at 2:30pm.  
  • Register for the Interview Workshop. Please note, students should only register if they are able to attend.

1:1 appointments: 

  • Students can book a 1-on-1 appointment for interview prep via mySuccess.
  • Log on to mySuccess
  • Click “Career”, then “Appointments”
  • View the calendar by appointment type (topic). Find Career Advising – Interview Prep and then select “Book”
  • Click on a date that works and any available times that day will display.  Once you select a date and time, you will have an option to book.

              *Students completing their ECE requirement at St. Clair College are not eligible to apply

  • Will have completed a minimum of 1 full academic year of post-secondary education prior to Fall 2025 
  • Available for in-person training starting Monday, August 18, 2025, no exceptions to this start date will be made 
  • Will have achieved an academic average of a minimum of 65% by Fall 2025

They should be someone who knows you, with whom you have worked or volunteered. One of the references can also be an RA/CA you work with or participate on their committee.
