We are excited that you are choosing to live in residence for Winter 2026!
We know that this is a new process for many of you so we have some information below to help make the application process as smooth as possible. Should you encounter any issues during the application process, please email us at resservices@uwindsor.ca.
- Confirm your offer of admission and wait 24-48 hours after accepting your office of admission before extending your UWin Account. If you need assistance, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 519-253-3000 ext. 3315.
- Extend and Activate your UWin account – You will not be able to apply to residence until you have extended and activated your UWin Account. You will need to wait 24 to 48 hours to go back into the residence application and complete it.
To submit your Winter 2026 application, you will need to click `Confirm and Submit' button
- A residence deposit of $475 is required at time of application for new residence students, and is payable by credit card ONLY
- For the Winter 2026 application, students will not be able to select a building preference, as room assignments are based on availability
- To submit the application, you must complete the last step in the applicaton process and submit
- Once you have been assigned a room, you will be able to select your meal plan (please note that meal plans are mandatory for all students who live in residence)
Residence is guaranteed for all International students entering their first year of university, if you apply to residence by Nov 15, 2025, after that it is based on availability.
