Move In Information – Winter 2023

  • NEW STUDENTS are permitted to move in starting on January 4th , January 5th, January 6th and January 7th, 2023.  Please note that there will be limited services in Residence and Food Services. 
  • You will need to schedule a move-in time using the booking calendar system shown below
  • Check-in will occur at the main Residence Services office in Vanier Hall
  • You can use this address for your GPS: 2585 Wyandotte St W, Windsor, ON N9B 1K6, it is for the area across the street
  • Have photo ID ready
  • Move-in carts will be available at your residence building

For the dates listed below, you must schedule a move-in time and date 

  • Wednesday, January 4th, 2023  between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm
  • Thursday, January 5th, 2023 between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm
  • Friday, January 6th between  9:00 am and 4:00 pm
  • Saturday, January 7th between 12:15 PM and 3:45 pm
  • Sunday, January 8th, Residence office is closed, and there will be no move-ins on this day
  • Monday, January 9th or later - if you are planning to move-in you must submit a `Late Arrival' form at  LATE ARRIVAL .   No move-ins will take place on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.

Vaccination information

  • All residents must adhere to the University’s vaccination policy.  Please review the information here https://www.uwindsor.ca/returntocampus/467/vaccination-policy prior to your arrival and ensure you are eligible to move in  Email resservices@uwindsor.ca if you have any questions
     
  • The University of Windsor requires that anyone living in residence for Winter 2023 complete a vaccination attestation at www.uwindsor.ca/vaccine prior to Winter move-in regardless of vaccination status
     
  • At this time, vaccination is not required to live in residence or to attend campus, but we encourage all individuals who are able, to get their vaccine or booster, when eligible

Photo - student ID card

Your UwinCARD is your official UWindsor student identification card. As a `NEW' student, you will need to complete the UwinCARD Photo Upload Form, and ensure your photo meets the photo requirements.
