WURA members are invited to visit our first Live Poets Society (LPS) gathering on Tuesday, Sept. 29th at 6:00 P.M. at 360 Sunset Avenue, at the WURA House (Sunset House: Windsor University Retirement Association).
Our member, Karl Jirgens will be there to greet us. We’ll use the big table and chairs. All are invited! You might bring photocopies of your poems (but we don’t know how many copies to bring for the first meeting; it depends on how many folks show up). But bring at least half a dozen copies, or feel free to read your writing aloud to the other folks attending the meeting. Photocopies are not necessary.
PARKING: There's a big lot next to Sunset House which uses the digital app, HONK. Otherwise, there's meter parking on California St. or University Ave. near the house.
Other LPS members will join us. Looking forward to seeing all poetic scribes and sharing your fine literary efforts. Roy James and Karl Jirgens will oversee the proceedings. And we do our best to have fun!
