The University of Windsor is a long-standing supporter of the United Way. Our 2023 Campus Campaign for United Way ran March 27 to 31 with a goal of raising $125,000 from faculty, staff, and student donors. As of March 31, the total raised reached $126,602.91. Donations will continue to be accepted, whether directly to United Way or through payroll deduction.
- Jennifer Molnar, Stephanie Parent, and Danielle Stiller each won an extra vacation day.
- Renee Bombardier won an eight-month campus parking pass.
- Katherine Simon won AirPods, Sheri Lowrie won a swag prize package, and Jeffrey Rau won sessions of personal training at the Toldo Lancer Centre.
2023 activities included:
A raffle offering prizes of Apple AirPod headphones, personal training sessions at the Toldo Lancer Centre, and a package full of UWindsor apparel and swag. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20, with payment accepted by cash or card at the campaign table in the CAW Student Centre Commons from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 27 to 30.
The table will also be selling T-shirts and ball caps bearing the logo of the Campus Campaign for United Way for $20. Each purchase also earns a ballot in a draw for an eight-month campus parking pass.
