Following every work term, each semester students from all co-op disciplines are invited to nominate a co-op supervisor. The Students' Choice: Outstanding Supervisor Award has been designed to allow Co-operative Education students an opportunity to recognize a supervisor who was an exceptional mentor and went above and beyond normal expectations to ensure the student had a quality placement.
This term we had a tie and Thuan Chieu of Integram Windsor Seating was one of the two winners. Thuan Chieu provided his student with leadership, encouragement and mentoring. As well, the student appreciated that he was treated as a valuable member of the organization and given many opportunities to develop his skill set, making his work term an outstanding learning experience!
