Following every work term, each semester students from all co-op disciplines are invited to nominate a co-op supervisor. The Students' Choice: Outstanding Supervisor Award has been designed to allow Co-operative Education students an opportunity to recognize a supervisor who was an exceptional mentor and went above and beyond normal expectations to ensure the student had a quality placement.
This term we had a tie and Sarah Pau of Pure Hothouse Foods Inc. was one of the two winners. Sarah provided her student with leadership, encouragement and mentoring. As well, the student appreciated that she was treated as a valuable member of the organization and given many opportunities to develop her skill set, making her work term an outstanding learning experience!
