The co-op program has provided me with direct exposure to how corporate offices actually function. I have come to find out that it is not always the hard skills that take precedence.

Through co-op, I have gained invaluable skills and opportunities to network with industry leaders that will benefit me in the short and long-term.

During the first two months of my placement I was tasked with designing and building a fully functional automated Press & Transfer system…completely out of LEGO.

It's been a unique learning experience where I could see the theories that we studied in class put to practical application.

I worked with an excellent team of physicists and chemists, all with a great love for the research they were conducting.
