Promotion encourages making rounds of food court

Mark Bagley is hoping diners will try all the options in the Marketplace food court, and a new promotion is aimed at ensuring they do.

The Marketplace tour card offers a prize draw to clients of the food outlet in the CAW Student Centre who purchase foods from each of its five stations.

“Since we introduced new outlets here at the Marketplace, we thought we would encourage clients to try each one,” says Bagley, manager of satellite operations for UWindsor Food Services.

Chef to U homestyle meals, Burger Bar and Mediterranean Grill have joined Subway sandwiches and Pizza Pizza this semester.

Customers can ask for a card and receive a stamp each time they make a purchase. When they have stamped each of the five outlets, the card becomes a ballot for a draw offering Lancer apparel.

“We have already given out a couple of Lancer hoodies and look forward to distributing more prizes as our guests try the new concepts,” Bagley says.

The promotion will run for at least two more weeks.
