Inaugural Reading by Donato Mancini, University of Windsor's Fall 2017 Writer in Residence

Whether you are in your first year or fourth year, in the literature program or double majoring in English and computer science, whether you are a graduate student preparing to write your first work of fiction, or looking forward to pursuing eighteenth-century studies, COME JOIN US one and all to hear the University's writer-in-residence read and introduce his works.

As a writer, Donato Mancini moves between genres, making visual and procedural poetry, bookworks, and visual art. He is author of over five books with titles such as Buffet World, Same Diff, Ligatures, and Hell Passport No. 22, and he has published an analysis of poetry book reviewing practices in Canada, You Must Work Harder to Write Poetry of Excellence. Mancini graduated with a PhD from UBC, his dissertation on writing beyond canonical genres, and will be a SSHRCC-funded post-doctorate at Johns Hopkins University starting in January 2018.
